Fundamental Technical Trading System.
A proprietary stock analysis system with a well defined set of rules.

Fundamental Technical Trading System or FTTS is a MapleTree Private Wealth's proprietary stock analysis system.

MapleTree Private Wealth believes in the importance of leadership, and that is why we focus on companies who are paving the way through their commitment to the environment, social and governance (ESG) factors.

In a world where many companies still prioritise profits over sustainability, it has never been more important for investors to choose companies that will not only provide a stable investment platform but also peace of mind. Our due diligence criteria consists of: gender equality, employment and diversity, environmental stewardship, leadership values and community involvement.

Investing in companies that are growing in the industry is a good way to create a solid foundation for your portfolio. Additionally, investing into dominant companies gives you more potential for growth over the long term, since these companies will continue to thrive as their competitors fall away. Finally, it's important to invest in stocks that provide a steady stream of cash flow and profits while they continue to expand into new areas.

The final step in the process is a thorough fundamental and technical analysis conducted by utilizing proprietary Fundamental Technical Trading System (FTTS).

The investment thesis moves from being more of an idea, to being a financial analysis based on the firm’s financial performance and its strategy. A fundamental analysis is research on the firm’s financial statements, such as sales and profit growth trends, cash flow generation strength, debt levels and overall  liquidity, and how this compares to the competition. No detail is too small in this section; it can also cover efficiency ratios like the turnover ratios and a detailed breakdown of return on equity components.

Technical analysis is an important technique for analyzing past trends to forecast future performance. Technical analysts utilize various methods and tools such as moving averages, supply and demand levels, and technical indicators to draw conclusions about a company’s stock price movements. Additionally, the analyst will solicit information from various sources to establish target prices.
